New Press Room Item from Symphony Magazine

The League of American Orchestras has graciously allow us to post "Turning the Page" by Wynn Delacoma, from the January-February 2008 edition of Symphony Magazine. This is a new MOLA Press Room addition as of January 2009. You can also find a link to the article from the MOLA Press Room page.

HOTEL RESERVATION FOR THE 2009 MOLA CONFERENCE

You can now make your hotel reservations for the 2009 conference in DC. Check the MOLA Members area for the Group Code. MOLA Members are encouraged to stay a the designated hotel, the Mariott at Metro Center.

Alan Gilbert conducted his last concert as the music director of Royal Stockholm Philharmonic on Saturday June 7. Program was Mahler's 9th. In the farewell party, maestro took up the baton once more, and led the staff band in an encore version of "New York, New York". Follow the link to Youtube...
